  • How It Works:
    1. Book your preferred 1-day course date.
    2. Submit your worksite WHS evidence portfolio prior to the course.
    3. Attend the 1-day in-person course and complete a knowledge assessment.
    4. Receive your statutory supervisor certification.
  • Units of Competency:
    • BSBWHS411 – Implement & monitor WHS policies, procedures & programs
    • BSBWHS414 – Contribute to WHS risk management
  • Delivery Method:
    • In-Person or Online by video link : 1-day course + evidence portfolio submission.

Description

  • Evidence Portfolio:
    • We require evidence of onsite supervision and experience implementing WHS programs.
    • A typical portfolio will consist of the following documents signed off by yourself, or relating to your work:
      • SWMS / JSA / CRAW
      • Toolbox or pre-start meeting minutes you have contributed to.
      • Correspondence around WHS policies / procedures / investigation that you have contributed to i.e RTW or incident report.
      • Additional WHS/OHS docs, including behavioural observations or other infield KPI.
  • In Class Requirements:
    • Laptop computer with wifi capability.
  • Outcomes:
    • Requirements for training, consultation and incident response.
    • Monitoring WHS compliance.
    • Consultation duties, methods, benefits and barriers.
    • The risk management process, including identifying hazards, assessing risks, applying controlling measures and monitoring and reviewing controls.
    • Implementing and monitoring WHS policies and procedures.
    • Reporting and record-keeping requirements.
  • Exam Preparation:
    • Our 1-day course gives an introduction to WHS legislation and regulations.
